SASH Central Coast is located just off Wyong Road at 2 Bounty Close, Tuggerah. With easy access to the Pacific Highway and M1, allowing for quick access from surrounding towns and regional centres.

We routinely care for patients from around the Central Coast region, including Gosford, Wyong, Erina, Terrigal, Woy Woy,
Budgewoi and Lake Haven.

Our teams also provide referral services and treatments for pets from Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Maitland and the wider Hunter Valley region.

SASH Central Coast FAQ

A vet emergency is any situation where your pet is suddenly ill, injured, or in distress and needing urgent care. This includes difficulty breathing, seizures, collapse, trauma, severe pain and/or bleeding, ingestion of toxins or foreign objects, and sudden changes in behaviour and mobility.

If you are unsure if your pet requires urgent veterinary care, please call us or take them to an emergency vet.

No, pets can be brought in at any time without a referral for emergency care at SASH Central Coast. For specialist appointments, a booking is required. A written referral from your regular veterinarian is preferred but not essential. We are able to request patient information from your regular vet with your consent.

Emergency vet costs will vary based on your pet’s, condition and required treatment. An estimate will be provided once a vet has conducted a thorough assessment. Diagnostics and treatments will only be performed with your consent.

If you can’t afford emergency vet care, SASH offers a number of third party payment options to help manage costs. If you have pet insurance, we also offer GapPay payments for eligible providers. Our teams will discuss costs and care options based on your financial situation with you so you can make informed decisions about your pet’s care.

 

Yes, SASH accepts pet insurance and offers third party payment plans, including AfterPay, ZipPay, Zip Money, and VetPay, to help manage the cost of veterinary care.
