Dr Sonia graduated from the University of Sydney with honour and began her career in mixed practice in rural NSW, followed by two and a half years in the UK before returning to the Central Coast. In 2005, Dr Sonia commenced a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine through Murdoch University and achieved specialist status in 2010. She later practised at SASH North Ryde and helped to establish SASH Central Coast. Her clinical interests include canine neurology, haematology, immunology and lower urinary tract disease.
Outside the hospital, Dr Sonia enjoys swimming and keeping active with her children, making the most of the Coast’s outdoor lifestyle. At home, she unwinds with family time and looking after the family pets.
