Gum disease is common in dogs and cats, especially with older pets. SASH Dentistry offers treatment options for:

Dentistry at SASH
SASH Sydney offers dental X-rays (radiographs) for more routine diagnostics. For advanced imaging, SASH also offers CT scans for pets, overseen by the specialist team from the SASH Diagnostic Imaging department.
One of the challenges of veterinary dentistry is that our furry patients cannot be instructed to sit still with their mouth open for extended periods. For this reason, it is important for the Dentistry team to work closely together with the Anaesthesia department.
SASH is fortunate to have one of Australia’s largest team of Specialists in Anaesthesia to ensure the dental procedure is as safe as possible. This is especially important for older patients who are more likely to have dental disease.
