Dr Asher graduated from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2011 and subsequently undertook a small animal rotating internship with the University in 2012; based at Pride Veterinary Centre, UK. Following this he undertook an anaesthesia internship followed by a residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the Animal Health Trust, UK. Dr Asher completed his residency and became an ECVAA (European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia) diplomate in 2017.
Following his residency Dr Asher moved back to Pride Veterinary Centre, UK working as a clinician in anaesthesia before joining SASH in June 2019.
Dr Asher leads the Anaesthesia & Analgesia, Pathology and the Rotating Intern Program department at SASH North Ryde, home to Australia’s largest specialist anaesthesia team.
