Dr Annika Tofferi

BVSc MANZCVS

Emergency Veterinarian

Dr Annika Tofferi graduated from University of Sydney in 2017. She spent her first two years in small animal general practice in the beautiful Speyside region of Scotland and returned to Australia in early 2020 to start working in emergency at SASH. She spent 12 months working in emergency before completing an internship in internal medicine. Dr Annika attained her membership to the ANZCVS in Small Animal Medicine in 2022 and have since returned to working in emergency practice.

Dr Annika is interested in most aspects of emergency work, but particularly enjoys dealing with medical emergencies.

Annika has a very sassy (but sweet) feline called Olive, who was adopted by Annika and her husband from SASH when she was brought in with severe tick paralysis whilst still managing to nurse 4 kittens! In Annika’s spare time, she enjoy giving the cat more cuddles than she wants, hiking, yoga, learning French, cooking, and she has also started studying postgraduate psychology.
