Lead Emergency Veterinarian
Dr Catriona (Cait) Hope graduated from the University of Sydney in 2009 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. After working in general practice in Sydney for a couple of years she started as an emergency veterinarian at SASH North Ryde in 2013. She worked as an emergency clinician in Queensland in 2015 before returning to SASH North Ryde.
In 2017 Dr Cait obtained her Graduation Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care through the University of Melbourne.
She relocated to the Central Coast in 2018 for the full time opening of the emergency service at SASH Central Coast, and has been working as an emergency and critical care veterinarian and as Clinical Manager of the Emergency and Critical Care Team at Tuggerah since.
In 2023 she was admitted as a member of the Australian and New Zealand Collage of Veterinary Scientists in the area of Emergency and Critical Care. She has also completed post graduate modules in soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography, and Business Administration.
Cait has two cheeky Yorkshire terriers, Pippin and Charlie who love spending their time napping and barking at any birds who wander nearby.
