Amy Cook

Amy joined SASH in 2025 as a Talent Acquisition Partner, bringing with her a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management and over 15 years of customer service experience. With a background in agency recruitment, she spent the past 4 years helping people build meaningful customer service careers, within government organisations.

At SASH, Amy supports recruitment across several key teams, including Emergency Veterinarians, Vet Nurses of all levels and specialties, Client Services professionals, and Call Centre Operators. She is passionate about getting to know each candidate as a whole – understanding their motivations, aspirations, and what they need to truly thrive. Helping someone find a role where they feel valued, supported, and excited to come to work is what Amy loves most about her job. She is proud to play a part in growing a SASH team that provides world‑class care, delivered with genuine compassion and heart.

Outside of work, Amy and her husband are the proud pet parents of a beautiful rescue greyhound, Billy, who brings endless entertainment, and joy to their home.

Alex Vatsaklis

Alex is the Talent Acquisition Leader at SASH, where he feels fortunate to work alongside dedicated teams who devote their careers to helping pets and their families. He leads the Talent Acquisition team and focuses on building sustainable recruitment strategies that support SASH’s hospitals and future growth.

With a strong focus on collaboration and team development, Alex partners closely with leaders and clinicians across SASH to understand their needs and help attract the right people into the right roles. He takes pride in creating a positive experience for every candidate and in helping build teams where people feel they can grow, contribute, and belong.

Alex enjoys sharing the culture and opportunities that make SASH unique and is motivated by seeing others succeed.

Outside of work, he enjoys great company and spending quality time with his family.

Sareah Kelly

Sareah joined SASH in 2024, bringing with her over a decade of diverse recruitment experience shaped by four years in internal talent acquisition within the engineering industry and more than six years in agency recruitment across both blue‑ and white‑collar industries. This blend of technical insight and people-focused expertise gives her a unique perspective on what drives great talent and how to support individuals in finding roles where they can truly thrive.

At SASH, she now partners closely with a variety of clinical and non-clinical groups, helping to build compassionate, capable, and future-focused teams within our network.

What motivates her most is the human side of recruitment; seeing people flourish in nurturing and creative work environments is one of her favourite parts of the job.

She values being part of someone’s career journey, aligning their strengths, aspirations, and lifestyle.

Life outside the office is joyfully dominated by her two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, whose signature “singing”, love for beach afternoons and car rides keep her entertained.

No matter if she’s enjoying good company or quiet moments with her dogs, Sareah brings the same warmth, curiosity, and care to her personal life that she tries to bring to candidates she supports.

Tim Allen

Tim joined the SASH Talent Acquisition Team in 2025 and brings with him more than 15 years of experience across agency and internal recruitment. Prior to SASH, Tim recruited in the human health care sector and has found the transition to animal health care incredibly rewarding and enjoyable.

Tim is responsible for recruiting Hospital Attendants, Nurses, Interns, Veterinarians, and Operations positions across multiple hospitals within our busy network. He has a thorough understanding of all the hospitals he recruits for including their unique and positive culture, how they operate, and the people who would fit best in each location.

Outside of work Tim enjoys watching his son play soccer and can often be found throwing in a fishing line somewhere on the Central Coast, NSW. He is also the proud owner of brother and sister cats Midnight and Alice.
