Dr. Dillon Devathasan received his DVM from the University of Adelaide in 2015. Following graduation, he completed a rotating internship followed by a neurology & surgery internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists and the Centre for Animal Referral & Emergency, respectively. Dillon then moved to Indiana, USA to undergo a three-year combined residency and Master’s program in neurology & neurosurgery at Purdue University. Upon completion, he became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Neurology & Neurosurgery. Dillon is currently pursuing certification in canine rehabilitation to further assist his patients during recovery. Prior to joining SASH Adelaide, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Neurology & Neurosurgery at Auburn University, USA.
Although Dr. Devathasan enjoys all areas of neurology & neurosurgery, he is particularly passionate about neurosurgery and cerebrospinal fluid disorders.
Outside of work, Dillon enjoys playing the guitar and going to concerts.
