Dr Bronwyn graduated from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Business (majoring in event management). She worked in the event management industry for several years before returning to university to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
Dr Bronwyn completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2011 at the University of Sydney. She worked in general practice for 6 years before starting a Surgery Internship at a Sydney-based referral hospital. She remained at the same hospital to work as an Emergency and Surgical Vet.
Dr Bronwyn joined the SASH Hospital Care team in 2022. Dr Bronwyn was offered a surgery residency position in 2023. She passed her Small Animal Membership Exam in Small Animal Surgery in 2024.
Dr Bronwyn’s research focus has been on Humeral Intracondylar Fissures (HIF) affecting French Bulldogs. She enjoys all types of surgery, including soft tissue, orthopaedics and spinal surgery. Dr Bronwyn has a menagerie of animals, including Sol the Cavalier, Fidget the Poodle x Shih Tzu and Zeus the domestic medium hair cat. In her spare time, she enjoys wakeboarding, skiing, event management & spending time with family & friends
