Dr Amanda Taylor completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in 2007. She interned at Queensland referal hospital before entering general practice for 6 years. In 2013 she started her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Sydney, where she become an Internal Medicine Specialist.
Dr Amanda practiced at another referral hospital in Sydney for a couple of years before joining the SASH team in 2022. Her clinical interests include neurology, immune-mediated and infectious diseases
Outside of veterinary practice, Dr Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband Philip and dog Billy. She is also fond of fitness and exercise and works as a group fitness instructor for a large gym franchise.
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Amanda will be returning to SASH Alexandria from parental leave in April 2026. She will be practicing in a part-time capacity and is looking forward to reconnecting with her patients.
