Dr Kate Hindley graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and has worked in small animal practice in Australia and the United Kingdom. After returning to Australia in 2009 she took up an internship position at SASH where she developed an interest in veterinary ophthalmology. It was during this internship that she became a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientist in Small Animal Medicine.

Kate completed her residency in veterinary ophthalmology under the mentorship of Dr Mark Billson and Dr Allyson Groth and was awarded a fellowship in Veterinary Ophthalmology through the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2016 and is one of our Ophthalmology Specialists. She has a special interest in canine corneal disease and surgery as well as ocular histopathology

When not at work she spends time with her family and friends, of both the two and four-legged variety.
