Story from Ronelle : Teddy

We are so lucky to still have our beautiful groodle Teddy thanks to the wonderful work at SASH. Teddy was diagnosed with leptospirosis in January 2022. First signs of him being unwell was lethargy and not eating. After taking him to local vet a few times we eventually rushed him to SASH as tests results indicated his kidneys were failing.

We found out a day later he had leptospirosis.

Dr Stephanie and Dr Bing explained all his treatment options to us and were so kind and generous with their time as we didn’t know if he would pull through. Fortunately he began to respond to antibiotics and we were able to take him home. He was not out of the woods and was also diagnosed with bells palsy, pneumonia and he also had a stroke.

He is our miracle dog and we have SASH to thank for looking after him. They always kept us informed and always available when we called. We look forward to many more years with our fur baby.
