(What does this mean?)

Dr. Leeder is originally from Colorado in the United States and went to college at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she completed a BA in biology (Magna Cum Laude), a BA in psychology with a certificate in neuroscience, and a minor in biochemistry. She then earned her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery took her to the University of Minnesota. This was followed by a residency in small animal internal medicine combined with a master’s degree in biomedical and veterinary sciences at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Leeder spent five years in private practice in Richmond Virginia as a board certified internal medicine specialist before moving to Sydney. Her medical interests include endocrinopathies, hepatobiliary disease (the area of her master’s work) and haematology.

In her free time, she enjoys running with her dog Payton, exploring Sydney, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends and pets.
