Jenni qualified in 2006 in Scotland and is Registered with the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons of London). She began working in a small country general practice and locumed in multiple hospitals in and around Edinburgh. Following Jenni’s passion for animal welfare she embarked on a volunteer mission in Africa/Botswana, Mexico and Thailand to work alongside the animal welfare & endangered species programmes. During this time, she worked with everything from cheetahs to jaguars to black rhinos to elephants! She specifically enjoyed learning to rehabilitate and release these great creatures back into the wild.
Once Jenni arrived back from her adventures around the world, she proceeded to continue her great work in the specialist referral field. Working in referral medicine lead her straight to Oncology which she has had the luxury of working in for the past 5 years. She worked at the Edinburgh Veterinary University Oncology Department and was involved with their Radiation Oncology unit.
Jenni joined our SASH Oncology team 3 years ago which has now lead her to help set up the first dedicated animal radiation oncology facility in NSW at SASH.
Jenni continues to aid animal welfare programmes and regularly volunteers to take part with the Pets in The Park Charity held in Sydney.
