Feline Blood Donation Form

Help save feline lives by registering your cat as a blood donor at SASH. Learn about the donation process, eligibility, and how your cat can make a difference.

At SASH, our dedicated team of veterinary specialists treats critically ill and injured cats every day.

In life-threatening situations, an emergency blood transfusion can make all the difference.

By registering your cat as a feline blood donor, you play a vital role in helping pets in need.

Unlike human hospitals, there is no national feline blood bank, meaning we rely on generous pet owners like you to help provide lifesaving blood donations.

Every donation can help save the life of another cat in need.

Is Your Cat Eligible to Donate?

To ensure the safety of both donors and recipients, feline blood donors must meet the following criteria:

  • Over 4 kg and a lean body weight,
  • Desexed and indoor only,
  • Between 1 to 8 years of age,
  • Up-to-date with vaccinations, parasite prevention, and
  • Healthy and has never had a blood transfusion.

If your cat meets the criteria and you’d like to help, please complete the form below.

A member of our team will contact you to discuss the next steps.
