We were travelling and I noticed what I thought was a crooked tooth, I touched it and it felt like jelly. It looked just like an extra tooth in Ollie’s mouth. Rushed home early from holidays & it was removed & tested cancerous. So scared as one prognosis was to remove Ollie’s jaw. For a Jack Russell that loves barking and chasing tennis balls, I just couldn’t do that too him. Dr Martin suggested to wait and see if it came back. It never did. 5 years on, it’s not reoccurred. We are lucky. But always check your dog’s mouth & if you see anything odd get it checked out fast! Because I acted quickly, I think that’s what caught it in time. Thank you to the oncology team at SASH for their help.
