Star was our late 19 year old Jack Russell Terrier who passed away last year from old age. She was a battler and a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed with aggressive osteosarcoma of the jaw when she was 14 years old. We immediately got her in to see Dr Veronika who organized for her to undergo surgery with Dr Martin, and subsequent chemotherapy. She went on to recover very nicely and have another 5 years of a joyful life. Throughout her older years, she was so well cared for with the team at SASH- from oncology with Dr Veronika, surgery with Dr Martin, and several emergency eye issues with Dr Mark. My mother and I are so grateful for the care and love that SASH provided Star.
