So basically, we adopted Squash (9 weeks old) from the RSPCA on the 15/12/23.

By the evening of 16/12/23, Squash had become weak, overheated, he was squealing when he was touched, and he wouldn’t open his eyes.

We brought him down to SASH and we found that his desexing site had become infected (he was desexed on the 14/12/23 and was sent home without a cone when we adopted him).

It broke our hearts to leave him in over night after only spending one night with him but we knew he was being looked after which made us feel better.

We got to pick him up the next day and he’s much better (despite hating his cone haha).

Thank you for all of your help, it was very stressful.
