Cookie is an anxious little fluff potato. We have worked with him over the years to train him to overcome his anxiety. He plays soccer, does K9 Noseworks and does agility. He also knows a fair tricks including how to file his own nails.
Cookie recently managed to breathe in the food he was eating (too excited for the ball) and then had breathing difficulties for over 7 hours. We took him to another emergency vet straight away and he was diagnosed with “kennel cough” and no relief given. After a few hours without seeing any of the improvement the get promised, we brought him to SASH. The team was wonderful, understanding and calm, even though they were in the midst of a pet emergency. Michael was calm from my panicked call to us leaving Cookie overnight. His calmness gave me strength and reassurance that was sorely missing at other clinics.
Thank you for taking care of Cookie and helping our pet in distress.
