Oli ate an insect bait station last night that was set up by professional pest control in a windowsill. He could reach it and consumed part of the container and the contents inside out of curiosity.
I phoned SASH Sunshine Coast to ask what to do and they calmly told me what the next steps should be. In the end, he had to be rushed to SASH Emergency so that vomiting could be induced ASAP and he could be effectively treated for this mild poisoning.

Lucky I (his owner) caught him consuming the poison and he was able to be treated before he suffered any serious health damage. He is back home and well now. I’m very thankful to SASH for their support and care so quickly to ensure my beloved pet and family member is okay.

He was treated immediately upon presentation to the hospital. They also sent a full report to our vet the very next morning.
