Woody had been to our usual vet all his life but at 9 years of age his ears were diagnosed as chronically infected. We were referred to another specialist vet facility where the decision was made to remove his right ear canal and the assumption was that the left would also have to be removed making him totally deaf. Instead we went to Dr Linda Vogelnest at SASH North Ryde and I have not stopped wishing we had gone there before his surgery.
Her tenderness to Woody as she examined an ear he did not want looked at, her clear explanations to me and her willingness to search for just the right medication to combat the infection has made Woody’s life so much better. He no longer fears going to the vet, in fact he gets excited when I pick up the car keys hoping it is a trip to the vet. Thank you so much Linda.
