My puppy Peggie was referred to SASH North Ryde years ago, after our local vet spotted a ‘shadow’ on her spinal X-ray.
The process of initial consultation + CT scan to post surgical recovery was seamless & exemplary.
SASH North Ryde staff were understanding & empathic.
I was allowed to visit Peggie ‘after-hours’ because I worked ~50km away. SASH staff also organised a private room for me to feed Peggie post-op. It was crucially important for us because Peggie was a nervous dog. She would refuse to eat if someone else offered to feed her.
Peggie was discharged home within 3 days post-op. Dr Paul, the registrar, was very thorough & non judgmental when providing instructions on how to care for Peggie as well as optimising her pain management.
My little princess had an uneventful recovery and continued to thrive until early this year.
I felt that SASH North Ryde staff treated Peggie like one of their pets.
