After 4 months investigation in Darwin NT into why Sunny’s leg suddenly became lame, I was thankfully referred by a friend (who is a vet in South Australia) to Dr Andrew Dunn at SASH Adelaide.

The Darwin diagnosis was giving me no options for surgery to help Sunny & only management of pain which was not helping. Conservative treatment was not an option anymore.

After a thorough & informative phone consult with Andrew who, after viewing all her history & scans, suggested he could definitely help sunny if I was willing to come to Adelaide.

I loaded both my Rottweilers into my FJ & drive 3,000 kms so Sunny could have elbow surgery with Dr Dunn & his amazing SASH team.

They were so incredibly kind professional explanatory caring & loving towards our Sunny girl.

Her outcome was instant & unbelievable after watching her have to suffer & struggle for 4 months prior to treatment with Dr Dunn. Sunny has been pain free & walking out of SASH on 4 legs. Free from limping & has not shown any sign of lameness throughout her recovery & rehab 5 weeks ago.

Thank you to the Drs, nurses & administrative staff involved

Best Regards, Sam Harrison NT
