In 2022, Bob, my Jack Russell cross, was diagnosed with growth on his pancreas.
I was told it was inoperable and he was given a few months to live at best.
As luck has it, I had to visit SASH Adelaide one weekend because Bob had a turn related to the pancreas issue. He was given a shot of adrenalin and I was given hope: one of the surgeons at SASH had looked at the scan and believed the tumour could be cleanly removed.
The operation was a success and Bob is still with me, scampering through his 15th year.
