Our Labrador dog Daisy suddenly stopped eating her normal meals which seemed unusual for a Labrador. Over the period of a few days we tried different types of food to which Daisy would only eat small portions. We became concerned with Daisy’s eating behaviour and arranged a visit to our local Vet.

Examination and blood tests revealed that there were some issues with Daisy’s liver and we were referred to SASH Adelaide.
We travelled to Adelaide and attended SASH emergency department where Daisy was examined and admitted into SASH for further tests and a CT Scan.
Tests and scans indicated that Daisy had issues with her liver.Oncology medical staff commenced medications to combat Daisy’s medical issue while awaiting test results.

Test results finally confirmed that Daisy had been diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma and chemotherapy specific treatments to that condition were commenced.
Dr Felicity McGovern and her team have been fantastic with Daisy and her ongoing treatments. At this time, Daisy is responding well to her treatments.
The staff at all levels are a dedicated team in providing care to Daisy and the regular updates and welfare checks on Daisy with her ongoing care.
I believe that we are fortunate to have such wonderful facilities and loving and caring staff to treat sick and injured animals.
