In 2023 post an ACL surgery we discovered that our dog Chewie had a cancerous growth in his bladder.

We brought him to SASH oncology where we met the amazing Dr Sarah Wetzel. After doing our own reading and research we knew that the prognosis for bladder cancer wasn’t great. But not only did we catch it early, but the amazing care & treatment plan from Dr Sarah and the SASH team has meant our lovely boy Chewie is still with us today (over 2 years) and about to turn 12.

The team at SASH and Dr Sarah take such great care of Chewie and without this team Chewie would not be with us today. He is living his best life and is still happy and playful and we will forever be grateful for this.
