This is Lilly’s Story
Lilly found me at the RSPCA Yagoona back in 2013. I had gone there not looking for a dog but Lilly was looking for an owner, she chose me, and the rest is history. Since that time Lilly has been my constant companion, best friend and my soulmate. Living by myself, now in my 70s, Lilly is my reason for being.
Her story with SASH first began in 2023, when she suddenly developed the debilitating autoimmune diseased, Erythema Multiforme. was referred to SASH North Ryde by the Sydney University Veterinary Clinic at Cobbitty. I thought that this disease would prove to be the end of our journey, but wonderful diagnosis and treatment by Dermatologist Dr Tati Lima proved this wrong. It was wonderful it to see how quickly she responded to treatment and her condition improved daily.
Just recently, Lilly had just commenced treatment for Cushing’s disease and I noticed a lump on the side of her throat. Investigations showed that this was sadly lymphoma.
So Lilly is now back under the wonderful care of SASH receiving chemotherapy at The Alexandra branch under the excellent care of Dr John Blaxill. I have the greatest of confidence that , for the second time in her little life, Lilly is experiencing the best of veterinary care, and that our journey together can continue.
Lilly and I owe all at SASH so much! So many thanks to the SASH Teams and the expertise and kindness that you have shown both of us.
