Our gorgeous corgi pup was involved in an accident in August 2025 that resulted in my local vet referring us to SASH Sunshine Coast for treatment.

We travelled from the South Burnett, where Loki was kept as an inpatient due to the travel distance & our other competing priorities.

Loki was diagnosed with a broken femur that required pins and complete crate rest. Loki’s leg was pinned, after a brief stay he was returned into our care.

The team were compassionate and empathetic. Dr Warwick Bruce was communicative and kept me updated along the way. It’s a huge process entrusting your pet! I received an update including photos morning and night.

Loki was returned to the clinic for follow up between 6-8 weeks after the surgery for pin removal which resulted in another inpatient treatment.

The veterinary staff were available to discuss any issues post op.

Loki was compliant with his treatment overall. His leg has healed without even a limp! Pretty impressive TBH.
