Dr Kirsten graduated from the University of Munich in 2017, followed by a doctorate at the University of Berne in Switzerland. Dr Bogedale then completed a rotating internship at Tierklinik Hofheim, one of the largest private veterinary referral hospitals in Europe. In 2020, she returned to the University of Munich for an internal medicine residency program with the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM), which she completed in 2024. Dr Bogedale plans to sit her board exam in 2025. 

During her residency, she had the opportunity to visit SASH and fell in love with the exceptional veterinary standard and professional opportunities, as well as with Sydney’s vibrant lifestyle and diverse culture. This inspired her to move to Australia, where she now brings her expertise and dedication to providing outstanding care for her patients. Dr Kirsten Bogedale is passionate about medicine, particularly for haemotology, endocrinology, and feline medicine. Her dedication to veterinary medicine and easy-going nature makes her a valued member of the SASH team.

Outside of work, Dr Bogedale enjoys travelling, fitness and exploring art & culture. She loves spending time with family and friends.
