Specialist in Ophthalmology
Yvette achieved her childhood dream of becoming a vet when she graduated from the University of Sydney in 2010. She began work in mixed practice in rural Tamworth before moving to the UK for further experience. After settling back in Sydney, Yvette worked on the Northern Beaches for a number of years before deciding to pursue her interest in feline medicine and ophthalmology.
Yvette began a rotating internship at SASH in 2017 and in the same year completed her Membership exams in Feline Medicine for the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. She then went on to a speciality internship, has completed her residency in Veterinary Ophthalmology, and has completed all requirements to be a ophthalmologist.
In her spare time Yvette enjoys catching up with friends and family, taking Pilates and dance classes, exploring nature and spoiling her two cats Astrix and Arthur.
