(What does this mean?)

Dr Sasha Chapman graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2019 with first class honours, before spending one year in general practice in regional NSW. She then completed a rotating internship followed by a dedicated small animal internal medicine internship and residency program with a private specialist hospital in Canberra. During her residency she spent time at the University of California, Davis honing her internal medicine and clinical pathology skills as well as undertaking advanced gastrointestinal endoscopy training at Colorado State University. Sasha has undertaken a year-long modular abdominal ultrasonography course in Australia and an echocardiography workshop with Veterinary Cardiologists Australia. She was awarded her certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Small Animal Medicine) with the University of Liverpool and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2024. She also achieved small animal internal medicine Membership with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2024.

Dr Sasha’s clinical interests include everything and anything internal medicine, particularly enjoying neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology, immunology, endocrinology and oncology.

Sasha is thrilled to be back on the Central Coast after a 10-year journey inland for university and her residency training. She has a passion for gardening and being outdoors, exploring trails with her pets, and staying up-to-date with the latest veterinary literature. Sasha has many pets, including Koda a rescue shar-pei cross, Stella a charming Border Collie, Wally a Kelpie who is a retired sheep dog and Puddles a Persian cat.
