Boarded in Internal Medicine
Dr Sara Ravicini completed her veterinary studies at the University of Barcelona, Spain in 2007. After graduation she spent a year travelling in the United States visiting referral veterinary hospitals in New Mexico, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, and Colorado. She then returned to Spain to complete a rotating internship at the University of Barcelona, after which she moved to England. She worked as an emergency clinician for a couple of years in Bristol and then completed a specialty internship at Willows Veterinary Centre & Referral Service in Solihull. In 2017 she moved back to the USA to start a residency in Internal Medicine at Washington State University, where she remained as a faculty member after completion of her residency in 2020.
Sara moved to Australia a few months ago, became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and is excited to have joined the wonderful team at SASH. Her medical interests include immune-mediated diseases, endoscopy procedures, interventional radiology and anything feline-related.
In her free time she enjoys the beautiful Australian beaches, exploring Sydney and its surroundings, and Crossfit training.
