Registrar in Internal Medicine

Dr. Samantha (Sam) Reeves has been passionate about becoming a veterinarian since she was just three years old—a dream shared with her twin sister, who is also a veterinarian. After graduating with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) in 2013 from the University of Queensland, Sam gained experience in mixed and small animal practices across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Her particular interest in internal medicine has driven her to join the team as a registrar in Small Animal Medicine, working toward her goal of becoming a medicine specialist. Sam is dedicated to providing compassionate, expert care to pets and their families, ensuring every patient receives the best possible treatment.

Sam grew up on a sheep and cattle property, fostering her lifelong love for animals. She now shares her home with two beloved rescues: Pippin, a laid-back cat, and Douglas, a charming dog, both adopted under irresistible circumstances during her studies and early career. When not at work, Sam enjoys relaxing with a good book, spending time at the beach, and catching up with friends and family.
