Dr Natsuko (Nats) Druery
BVSc(hons) MANACVS(Emergency and Critical Care)
Dr Natsuko (Nats) Druery graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with honors.
After working in general practice in Sydney, she moved to sunny Newcastle to start a career in emergency and critical care.
Between 2006 and 2019 Dr Nats worked as an emergency veterinarian and as Veterinary Director in an emergency-referral hospital in Newcastle.
As the hospital coordinator for the University of Melbourne led Snake Map Project, she was responsible for collecting and logging many snake bite case data to be used by this national initiative.
Dr Druery became the member of Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2014 after passing the membership exams in ECC.
Dr Nats joined the exciting Emergency team at SASH Tuggerah in early 2020 and is enjoying every minute of it. She is passionate about everything emergency, in particular snake envenomation cases.
When not on the floor, Dr Nats extends her love of learning to Leadership development and team development. She is currently studying Project Management and Risk Assessment.
Dr Nats resides in Newcastle with hubby, 2 growing children, 3 cats and a jack russell terrier who thinks he is a cat.
