Avian & Exotics Veterinarian
Dr Natalia Otavski completed her veterinary studies at the University of Sydney in 2015. Since then, she has worked as both a general practitioner and a bird and exotics vet in Sydney. In 2021 Natalia completed her membership exams in Avian Medicine and Surgery with the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.
Natalia also holds a Master’s in Wildlife Health and Population Management. She loves all aspects of avian and exotic medicine be it birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents or reptiles but particularly enjoys working up avian behaviour cases as well as avian reproductive management. She also has a soft spot for all things rodent and guinea pig.
In her spare time she enjoys cross-stitch, playing classical guitar and spending time with her husband and two young kids. With 2 young kids, Natalia is sadly pet-less however has been working to convince her husband to adopt some budgies to add to their family in the very near future.
