Dr Marcia Coradini obtained her veterinary degree in Brazil and soon after she moved to Australia where she completed her veterinary accreditation exams. At the University of Queensland, she obtained a Masters and a PhD degrees, both generating many relevant publications in the field of feline diabetes and nutrition. Marcia has also worked at the University of Queensland as a lecturer and general practice clinician, playing an important role in the training of veterinary medical students as well as veterinary technology students. She also completed a rotating internship at a private specialist hospital and worked as a lead veterinarian in private small animal general practice.
Marcia is passionate about all aspects of small animal internal medicine and her ultimate goal is to become a certified specialist in this area. She completed an internship in small animal medicine at SASH Tuggerah and is now undertaking an internal medicine residency program at SASH North Ryde.
Outside work Marcia loves spending time with her three beloved cats, Jezebel, Francesca and Gloria, as well as bushwalking and swimming at the beach.
