Dr Madeline Roberts

Internal Medicine

Maddie graduated from the University of Sydney with first class honours. Following graduation, she practiced in a busy small animal hospital on the lower north shore, where she developed a strong interest in internal medicine and ultrasonography. While in Sydney, Maddie wrote interest articles for the Cat Protection Society of NSW.

In 2015, Maddie commenced a rotating internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists in the UK. Here she furthered her interest in internal medicine, in particular procedural and renal medicine. Whilst abroad Maddie made use of her (limited) time off to attend conferences and proceeding throughout Europe.

Following this, Maddie worked with the medicine team at Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre. She was delighted to be offered a role as an internal medicine resident at Small Animal Specialist Hospital, and joined the team in 2017.

Outside of work Maddie enjoys watching and playing tennis, coastal walks and spending time with friends and family. She is the proud owner of an exceptionally cheeky Jack Russell called Teddy.
