Dr Lucy grew up in Switzerland and brings a unique international perspective to her veterinary career. Before pursuing veterinary medicine, she followed her passion for wildlife conservation, completing a B.Sc.(Hons) in Biology at the University of Sussex, followed by an M.Sc. in Wild Animal Biology from the Royal Veterinary College and the Institute of Zoology.
She went on to earn her veterinary degree (B.Vet.Med) from the prestigious Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in 2019. Just two weeks later, she relocated to Australia to begin working in emergency medicine, and in 2024, she achieved Membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Emergency and Critical Care. Her clinical interests include critical care, neurological cases, and toxicology.
Outside of work, Dr Lucy enjoys an active lifestyle, Pilates, yoga, hiking and staying outdoors as much as possible. She’s also a keen baker, an aspiring knitter, and loves spending time with friends. While her beloved cat Patsy, an RSPCA rescue with a big personality and a fiery history, who now lives a peaceful country life with her mum in England, she remains a cherished part of the family.
