Dr Lizzie graduated from the University of Queensland in 2018 with a BVSc(Hons), and went on to complete an internship at Scone Equine Hospital before spending some time in small animal general practice. She then relocated to Canada for an ophthalmology internship at the Ontario Veterinary College where she also published two ophthalmology research papers. Returning to Australia in 2022 she attained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Medicine of Horses) before joining the ophthalmology team at SASH.
Outside of work, Dr Lizzie enjoys horse riding and spending time outdoors with her husband and their two cheeky pugs, Pippa and George.
