Dr. Kimleerae Agape, known as Leerae, brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate touch to her role as an Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Veterinarian. After earning her Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Massey University in 2021, Leerae honed her skills through a rigorous rotating internship in 2022 and in 2023 she took on the role of a clinical tutor at Massey University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. With a deep interest in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) for critical care, trauma management, and transfusion medicine, Leerae is dedicated to delivering advanced, lifesaving care to pets in their most vulnerable moments. Her warm and collaborative approach ensures that every pet and family feels supported during challenging times.
When Dr Leerae is not immersed in her work, she can often be found exploring hidden cafes in search of the perfect coffee or cooking up a feast of Korean dishes for her friends. A true lover of live music, she is always on the lookout for her next favorite performance. While she does not currently have a pet of her own, Leerae’s heart is open to welcoming a furry friend into her life in the near future.
