Dr Lauren Bielby is an Adelaide local and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 2021 as the dux of her class, Dr Lauren spent the next year working in general practice before opting to pursue speciality. She joined the SASH Adelaide team as a Rotating Intern and after spending time in all departments, realised her passion was in caring for the emergency and critical cases. Dr Lauren has since stayed with the SASH team, completing two Emergency and Critical Care Internships before commencing her Residency at SASH North Ryde in 2026. Dr Lauren is particularly interested in sepsis and mechanical ventilation.
In her free time, Dr Lauren loves exploring new beaches with her friends and two griffons, Creature and Precious. She also is an avid traveler and reader.
