Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine & Feline Medicine
Dr Lara Boland graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004. She has worked in general small animal, emergency and feline practice, completing internships at another Sydney based referral hospital and the University of Bristol in the UK. She undertook an International Cat Care sponsored residency in small animal medicine at the University of Bristol. She returned home in 2013 to work as a specialist at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and then as a senior lecturer at Sydney University from 2018-2023. Lara is both a European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist in Small Animal Medicine and an Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists Fellow in Feline Medicine. Lara enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine with particular interest in endocrinology and gastroenterology.
