Dr Kayla Jackson

(What does this mean?)

Dr Kayla Jackson graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from The University of Sydney at the end of 2017. She spent 3 years in a mixed practice in Warwick QLD where she developed a love of emergency medicine. She then moved to Brisbane to undertake a Rotating Internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists and Pet Emergency.

In 2022, she moved back to Sydney, and completed a Emergency and Critical Care internship with the University of Sydney. Before successfully applying for a Residency position with SASH North Ryde commencing at the start of 2023.

Kayla’s clinical interests include toxicology, trauma and anaphylaxis. She has published papers on feline idiopathic cystitis and complications with emesis. At home Kayla likes to spend time with her Japanese spitz, Killua and central bearded dragon, Leorio. She has a passion for traveling, bubble tea and musicals
