Dr Katherine Nash graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 2008, before completing a rotating internship at a QLD Emergency & Critical Care Vet Hospital in 2012. She went on to undertake a residency in Emergency and Critical Care and a Master of Science at Auburn University in Alabama, USA, from 2014 to 2017. Dr Katherine achieved board certification with the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) in 2017 and returned home to Australia in 2021. Her clinical interests include the management of haemostatic disorders, polytrauma, mechanical ventilation, and post-arrest care.
Outside the hospital, Dr Katherine enjoy climbing, bouldering, hiking, and the occasional well-earned nap. She shares her downtime with Benjamin, her beloved Old English Sheepdog.
Dr Katherine is joining SASH Sunshine Coast 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care Department starting Aug 2025.
