Dr Katharina Flatz graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich in 2004, and completed her doctoral thesis on the magnetic resonance imaging of canine stifles in 2006. Dr Flatz completed a residency in diagnostic imaging in Munich, and is a German specialist (Fachtierarzt) in “Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Therapy” and a Diplomate of the European College of Diagnostic Imaging.
During her residency, she travelled to Sydney to spend time at the Radiology Department at the University of Sydney, and has now returned to Sydney to join SASH as network Head of Diagnostic Imaging department.
Moving her Bavarian partner and Belgian Shepherd dog to Australia, she is now diluting the European household with a couple of Australorp hens.
As an integral part of SASH, our Diagnostic Imaging team is among the largest in the veterinary world.
