Boarded in Ophthalmology
Dr Kate completed her Bachelor of Science, with a double major in zoology and genetics, from the Australian National University. She went on to graduate from Murdoch University in Veterinary Medicine & Surgery with distinction in 2012. Kate spent some time in general practice before completing a rotating internship at SASH and then an Emergency and Critical Care internship at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital, San Diego. Kate then completed an ophthalmology clerkship in Tuscon, Arizona before starting her ophthalmology residency in 2017 with Eye Care for Animals, California. Kate became a Diplomate (specialist) of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2021 before returning to Australia to rejoin the SASH family.
