Dr John Blaxill graduated from Murdoch University, Western Australia in 2017. After graduation, he completed a rotating internship at Perth Veterinary Specialists, followed by a focused internship in Internal Medicine at another Sydney based referral hospital. He then pursued his residency in Veterinary Oncology with the University of Sydney, finishing in April 2023. During his residency, Dr John also passed his membership examinations in Small Animal Internal Medicine, and has spent time training and at conferences in New Zealand, USA and throughout Australia. Dr John later fulfilled all requirements to become a Fellow of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Science in 2024.
Outside of work, Dr John can be found running or enjoying the sights of Sydney.
