Dr Iris Chan completed her degree in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cambridge in 2014. She enjoyed her time in general practice for several years before returning to the University of Cambridge to undertake a rotating internship in order to pursue her interest in Internal Medicine. After this, Iris commensed a combined residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine and Masters in Veterinary Science at the University of Bristol in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, with special interests in gastroenterology and feline medicine.
Iris and her partner moved to Sydney in October 2022, and they are very lucky to have three lovely cats Teddy, Alfie and Ilya. When she is not at work, she enjoys running, paragliding, sailing, and learning about Australian wines.
