Dr Gabrielle Tobias graduated with honours from the University of Sydney in 1997. She then completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital Camden at Sydney University.
Gabi has worked as a general practitioner for 12 years within a specialist veterinary clinic, and has completed a Masters Degree in Wildlife Health and Conservation Management. She joined the SASH Emergency and Critical Care team in 2012 whilst simultaneously taking up a veterinary position at Taronga Zoo.
Gabi’s veterinary interests include all things emergency and she is very happy to see birds, reptiles and amphibians. Outside of work Gabi is to be found wrangling her three children, two special needs rescue dogs, engaging in local activism and working on bringing sequins and dance to everyday situations.
