Dr Emily graduated from James Cook University in 2014 and began her career in rural mixed practice in North Queensland, before returning to JCU for a medicine internship. She has worked exclusively in Emergency and Critical Care since 2018 and achieved Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Emergency & Critical Care in 2019. After relocating to Brisbane, she completed a residency at a busy emergency and referral hospital. Since finishing her residency, she has worked at the University of Queensland Veterinary Hospital and in private emergency practice, before joining the SASH Robina team as an Emergency & Critical Care Registrar. Dr Emily is currently preparing for her specialist examinations.
Outside of work, Dr Emily is dedicating much of her spare time to study, with her two dogs Bailey the Bull Arab and Jack the Border Collie keeping her company along the way.
